This weekend, he took his cello to a meadow on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana to play for a herd of bison. Famed Cellist Yo-Yo Ma has a project devoted to promoting and celebrating ecological healing.
That led him to Glacier National Park to play for a herd of newly reintroduced bison. Experts and volunteers have been joined by college students from round 20 universities across the nation, with lots of them tenting at the dig.
